The experience of the sublime in nature lies at the core of my practice. I am drawn to moments when the natural world reveals its essential dimensions. In these moments, the landscape becomes more than a view. It becomes an encounter with forces that transcend the human — time, matter, light, and the immensity of the natural world. My photographs explore these forces and this experience described as the sublime: that profound emotion born of encountering a nature that transcends us.
