Dunes Blue Hour
I had not come for this photograph, yet this landscape is the result of a long search for framing and symmetry in the dunes during the previous days. I had already imagined everything, the shapes, the shadows, the golden color of the dunes at sunset, and this is what I got in a first photograph.
It is only after I folded all the gear that I noticed the change of light, with the transition from the "Golden" to the "Blue hour". It's a completely different atmosphere. The "Blue hour" are the last moments before the night. Everything is frozen in an icy atmosphere, the golden light has disappeared, there are only a few footsteps left in the sand...
Nature reveals its cold beauty.
